Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the StreamLens mobile app and the streamlens.live website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use StreamLens. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
You sign in with a third-party provider (Apple, Google, or Twitch). You are responsible for keeping that account secure. Notify us at hello@streamlens.live if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Stream content that is illegal, violates third-party rights, or violates the terms of a connected platform (Twitch, YouTube, Kick).
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Third-party services
StreamLens connects to platforms we do not control: Twitch, Kick, YouTube, Apple, and Google. Their terms also apply to your use of their services. We are not responsible for outages, content moderation, or changes those platforms make.
5. Third-party trademarks
StreamLens is software. Twitch, Kick, YouTube and any other platform names referenced in the Service are trademarks of their respective owners. StreamLens is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any platform.
6. Your account and viewing activity
You keep ownership of your follow lists, preferences and any chat replies you send through the Service. By using StreamLens to watch streams, you authorize us to fetch live status and metadata from the platforms you have connected, on your behalf, and to render their official video players inside our app.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid subscription. If we introduce paid tiers, billing is handled by Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through the App Store before the renewal date.
8. Beta status
StreamLens is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. We may pause or shut down the Service with reasonable notice. Provide feedback at hello@streamlens.live — it actually gets read.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamLens and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or (b) US$50.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if continued service is no longer commercially reasonable.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to that venue.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you in-app where reasonable. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
